“My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The owners were attentive to our needs. We loved the quietness and relaxation of fishing, kayaking and seeing the beauty. I think it would be a good idea to have certain instructions in the cottage. The instructions could include WiFi passwords, door code and/or how the owners would like the place to be left. I have seen this at other properties and it worked well.”

“The hosts were amazing and so accommodating. I loved how secluded it was and the property itself is beautiful. The front yard alone, I could spend all day in. It has a beautiful pond where you can sit and feed the koi fish and is so peaceful out there. Book with Ali, you won’t regret it!”

“House had plenty of seating! The host left us body wash, shampoo, conditioner and sunscreen! Also, had coffee and sugar along with plenty of of other basics to help us enjoy our stay. The neighbors are all friendly. We enjoyed walking around. The dock was perfect to secure the jet ski. Boat ramp was easy to find and use!”

“The property was very nice! We loved the outdoor area and the actual unit was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Loved the location as well. We had a friend’s wedding at La Venture Grove, which is just a few minutes away, so this was the perfect spot. We also went to check out St. Augustine for the day, which was close by and had tons of shops and restaurants. Very cool. We’d stay here again!”

The Lake House itself was comfortable and felt like home. We were able to enjoy the local area attractions and restaurants, including The Blue Crab Festival in Palakta Fl. “Just the most beautiful tranquil setting. Very peaceful and a great place to reunite with our children at UF. The only thing I'd recommend is to bring some disposable foil trays to use in oven if you plan on baking. Otherwise an amazing view to wake up to each day.”
