“Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!”

“Our family has such a great time staying in this cottage. It was so clean, plenty of room for our family of 5, well stocked with wood for camp fire, etc. It is perfectly quiet, and you are on a short road, off a cup-de-sac - so I never felt isolated (which I don’t enjoy!). But don’t worry about noise from others - we never even heard/saw another car drive by. I would absolutely stay here again! ”

“The cabin is rustic and quaint but had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was beautiful and it was close to everything. A grocery store essentially right up the road, the town of Southwest harbor a couple miles down, very easy access to Acadia National Park. We had the best time and would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to come again in the future!”

“We loved this charming cottage. It was quiet, cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The screened porch was an added bonus. The attention to detail in function, comfort, and decorating was noticeable and greatly appreciated! Sara was an excellent host, great communication and went above and beyond with providing local recommendations. The location is perfect for exploring Bar Harbor, Acadia, and the rest of Mount Desert Island. We enjoyed takeaway from The Chart Room and Thirsty Whale,……

“We had an absolutely beautiful week in the beach cottage. The setting is stellar, the cabin is adorable and we slept with the doors wide open, lulled to sleep by the gentle waves. We swam and fished off the dock, had cocktails at sunset and coffee in the Adirondack chairs as the sun came up. Just an idyllic week, we are already dreaming about coming back!”
