“I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!”

“This BNB is just outside of downtown Utica, and just far enough that the setting is quiet, peaceful, and serene. The house itself is charming inside and out. The couple that own the house are very kind, helpful, and very hospitable. Since my own experience was exceptional, this BNB gets booked often, so one definitely should book well in advance. “The stay was OK overall, but the floor from elevator to room was extremely cold ... which led my wife and I to not use the pool for fear of freezing when heading back to the room after a dip. But the last morning wasn't great. There were dogs in the breakfast area which caused me and a few others to just walk away and head to a local restaurant to get healthier choices.”

“Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.”

Breakfast was delicious in a beautiful room. This is the opposite of having to bag your own groceries. You will love it.
