“Two words perfectly describe this property. Charm and Character seasoned with history. It is a comfortable place to be, and you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. The 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms was just what our group of 7 needed. Be sure to look at the painted door in one of the 1st floor bedrooms. The kitchen has all you need to make a feast. On Christmas day we cooked a 15lb stuffed turkey with 4 side dishes, gravy, and an apple crumble. We could've done a pie but nobody wanted to……

I was cautious due to mixed reviews; however, the hotel was clean, grounds were clean, staff were friendly, and they accommodated our dog which was the primary reason we stayed as it’s difficult to find a dog-friendly property. I was pleasantly surprised, and would stay here again. ”

“You don't need to bring a thing. The host Saleste Buckley is terrific. We lived her welcome basket that included fresh eggs. I usually bring a good knife and things to wrap left overs. All good here. The bed was comfortable. Nice Linens were appreciated., Outside patio was enjoyed. Location was what we wanted. Hate to say lots more or it will not available for my next stay. LOL ”
