The room was clean. There is plenty of parking. It is located near a supermarket, diner, Dunkin's and a gas station. The staff are always pleasant. This was my second time staying here and I can't recommend it enough.

Super friendly staff. The room was dated, but very clean. Extremely comfortable bed. Shower pressure and temperature were excellent. Fridge and microwave worked well. Overall, if you're happy for a no frills stay (no mini bar, no coffee making, no safe etc), like I am - this place is amazing.

Friendly staff, clean room, with all the basics you need. It was the perfect place to stop on our journey home to sleep before continuing our travels the next day. We will keep this place in mind on our next trip. Also, the hotel is well placed right near 2 gas stations, grocery store, diner and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Mixed reviews: This an old-fashioned motel; you park outside your room, and all rooms are on a single level. Our room was clean; the bed and pillows were comfortable; the staff is a family, and they’re very nice and helpful. But all the above positives said, our room was near the hotel owner’s residence, and someone was singing until 11:00 p.m. and the sound came through the wall and into our room. We had an early morning flight and needed to rise at 4:30 a.m., so I didn’t get much sleep. And the a/c wasn’t great, so I was hot all night. I probably won’t return when I fly into and out of the New Haven Airport.

There is a difference between dated and rundown. And unfortunately, I found my room rundown. I based my stay on the good reviews of this location. And while overall the property is clean and appears nice, the room that I stayed in was I guess as clean as it could be, but it still was dirty. The walls are paper thin. I could hear the people beside me talking, laughing, coughing, etc. To me, little things like a fresh coat of paint, new carpeting, things like that could make a huge difference in this place. I didn’t even wanna take a shower because I just felt like the place was not clean enough. I would not stay here again.

Don't be put off by the slightly shabby looking exterior to this motel - or the bullet proof glass in the front office! The place is a gem. Clean comfortable beds, clean bathroom, great shower. Will definitely stay another time when in the area!
