Below you will find details about our beautiful, NEW 1 bed/1 bath Bayfront condo, Sail Bay Sunset on Mission Bay!

This penthouse-level condo was completely remodeled in August 2024. The minimalist design echoes the Danish "hygge" perception of coziness and conviviality. This notion encourages "a form of everyday togetherness, and a pleasant and highly valued experience of safety, equality, and personal wholeness." A known comfort and a mood of peace and contentment of the soul, mind, and consciousness.

This condo's decor also leans toward a farmhouse style with modern and thoughtful furnishings such as the stone and wood mantle gas fireplace and farmhouse kitchen sink. The fully-equipped kitchen has new stainless steel appliances including a water filter in the dual-door refrigerator, electric stove top, dishwasher, window cabinets, slow-close drawers, and alluring granite countertops that continue along the adjacent coffee bar and in the bathroom. Even while prepping and cooking meals in the kitchen, you can see the sunset adorn the bay's horizon at the end of the day.

Delight in lively meals with friends and family at the breakfast bar or dining table set for four. Gather around the TV to stream a game or movie, or just to listen to the bay's soft waves as you wind down in front of the warmth and ambiance of the gas fireplace.

The master bedroom has a king bed with a dresser and large mirrored closets offering plenty of additional storage. The in-suite bathroom (also accessible from the foyer), has a dual vanity, stunning marble detailing, and Mediterranean-style, spacious 5ft x 4ft shower.

With a choice of standard or Keurig style - brew a cup of coffee to take in the morning activity from the balcony overlooking Mission Bay. Enjoy the proximity to sandy shores, restaurants and shops along the boardwalk, and even the views to Pacific Beach on a clear day! Take the boardwalk around about a half of a mile to Pacific and Mission beaches - stroll or bike on one of the provided cruisers (COMING SOON) around the bay to join in the fun!

This condo has 1 reserved parking space in the gated, underground garage of the Riviera Villas complex. Direct access to the bay front creates ease in transporting family and equipment for a day in the sun! The cabinet in front of the parking space holds beach accessories such as, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and boogie boards.

At Riviera Villas, there is a laundry room on each floor with credit card or coin-operated front-loading washers and dryers and a trash chute. It's just 25 feet (or 12 steps) down the hallway. The half-underground parking area has designated parking space(s) for each condo and the cabinets in front of our condo's parking space hold beach accessories.

Riviera Villas Condominiums is a 22-unit building situated on the quieter East side of beautiful Sail Bay (the loveliest part of Mission Bay)! You will have a magnificent view of the sunsets with the activities of the bay in the foreground; kite-boarders, small sailboats, water skiers, catamarans, etc. Yet, you are only 12 minutes from San Diego's bustling downtown historic Gaslamp area and Little Italy, both with their fine dining establishments, 1.5 miles from SeaWorld and within 15 minutes from the lovely Balboa Park with the famous San Diego Zoo and its fabulous collection of museums and botanical gardens.

It's just a 10 minute stroll around the bay over to Pacific and Mission Beaches with their wide boardwalks to watch the surfers, play in the waves or catch a sunset. On a cloudless evening you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive green flash just at the exact moment the sun sinks into the ocean.

We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you`re planning to stay put in Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! Just ride our provided bikes or walk the neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed the incredible views from this lovely condo. It was immaculate, thoughtfully stocked with essentials and beautifully decorated. Nancy’s Vacation Rentals staff were so easy to communicate with and helpful with our requests. Checkin/checkout procedures were clear and easy to follow.
