“We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!”
“My husband and I have stayed at the Alpine Lodge a few times now, and that’s because we always have a very nice stay. The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are not the newest, but that doesn’t usually impress me anyway. They are clean, and that’s important to me! I will definitely continue to bring my family to this lodge. ”
“Great experience after a long few weeks of traveling. Monte gave me the time, space abs comfort to regroup after several weeks of work travel.
When this was booked I never expected it to be so wonderful. After weeks of work travel I was able to relax in a beautiful harmonious place. And, still able to work remotely.
I will be back again. ”
“Great location with attentive staff and service. Rooms are basic, but clean and nicely decorated. Property is beautiful, pool area includes hot tub, dry sauna, and cold plunge. Must go to the restaurant on-site, Juliette, for delicious food, fabulous drinks, friendly service, live music, and vibrant atmosphere!”
“From the street the hotel looks dated and you expect to be disappointed. After a pleasant & friendly check in I opened my door and I knew I had made a good decision. The room was updated in a high quality way and was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend. ”
“The property manager communicated well before my stay and was very welcoming and informative upon my arrival. The room was spacious and aesthetic, with an especially large shower that included a sitting platform. The landscaped grounds were attractive and there was ample parking proximal to the room. Moreover, the location was excellent for Taos Plaza, restaurants, Kit Carson Blvd., and hiking. All but hiking was available via a quick walk and mountain hiking was a very reasonable drive. ……
“Older property, but clean and well kept. It offered amenities not often found elsewhere such as barbecue grills, horseshoe pits, and corn hole games. The location was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Nacho chips with salsa and cookies in the afternoon, but best of all was the southwestern breakfast.”
