“Room was extremely clean, but the furniture is in need of an overhaul. Had expected a whirlpool bath but shower only, though shower itself was top notch. Beds need an upgrade as well, most hotels of the caliber have gone hybrid foam or hybrid coil. TV is too small given room size which is quite spacious. A scolding from the valet for improper check-in didnt sit well either. Matter of fact, the hotel might consider a conversation about quest etiquette with the whole valet staff. Gorgeous hotel……

“What a lovely place to get away. The building had quaint charm and my room was cozy and welcoming. All I needed for a fire was ready to go, bed and bedding was luxurious and comfortable, coffee for the morning with REAL creamer in the fridge. The dining room and common sitting room was inviting and decorated beautifully. My made to order breakfast was healthy and delicious. Biggest treat was the personable staff. True locals that treated me like a new friend.”

When you walk into the main house you just get this old world New Mexico vibe that takes you back in time. Fireplaces were crackling and guests were really made to feel welcome for a respite after a long day of travel. We arrived in the evening and it was so peaceful and serene.
