“My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. Indeed, I can think of NOTHING of this one night experience for us that was amiss. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The accommodations were more than comfortable. In the room, we had a plethora of snacks and breakfast……

“We can’t say enough about this incredibly special place. We found the history of the tower and the surrounding area so intriguing. The recommended walk along the Tweed River and the nearby arboretum were beautiful. Make sure to stay at least a couple nights.”

“Overnight as a couple. Dinner bed and breakfast £185. Check in was good apart from parking. Sorted in the end. Room looked lovely and had a smashing view that you could see when lying in bed. Room itself was very very hot, we had a fan on all night, which was in the cupboard, so someone else must have complained about it. Shower and bath. Dinner was lovely. Steak cooked to perfection. Again breakfast was smashing although we had booked for 9am and arrived at 5 past to be told we were late and……
