“We were pleasantly surprised by this cozy house in the woods. It was actually nicer in person than in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything we needed. There were 14 in our party but it didn't feel too crowded. The house was clean. The game room in the basement was fun. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The hot tub was hot and ready for us! It was so comforting after a long drive. The fireplace was also perfect with an outdoor firepit as well! The house smelled so good when we walked in and there is plenty of blankets and a heater for chilly nights. They sell firewood, which we had bought some locally unknowingly.”

“This cabin is great. Very clean and nice furnishings. The primary bedroom is a loft so it is open to below. The property is vast and there are no neighbors anywhere around, but it is still only 15 minutes drive to get into Munising and it is very close to all of the hiking and waterfalls in the area. Highly recommend it. ”

“We stayed here for 3 nights with some friends and the house was just what we needed. Everything inside the house was up to date and in working order. The hot tub was huge and definitely a perk after lots of physical activity during the day. It’s more of a rural area but there was a small grocery mart and a restaurant/bar a few miles down the road. Would recommend for summer or winter activities for a larger group/family. ”

So you can still be connected if you choose to be, while being remote enough for a quiet, peaceful stay surrounded by nature. It was perfect as a homebase while exploring the UP.
