“The remodel of this cabin is gorgeous! The photos in the listing are accurate and authentic. The location is fantastic! It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. “Centrally located to Lake Superior! We were on the AuTrain river with easy/quick access to kayaking. Lake Superior was about 6 mins away with beautiful beaches, views, walks, fishing and adventures. Christmas and Munising were also very close. (15 mins or less) We enjoy renting a boat a touring Pictured Rocks as a family. We also visited Tahquamenon Falls. (about 1.25 hours away) The property itself has a bonfire pit, charcoal grill, wifi, endless TV (if needed) and other falls and...

“We started out with one daughter and her family that live in the area. Then they went home and another daughter and her family came to stay. Because the other family lives nearby they came in for some day trips too. We loved the ease of staying, especially check in and check out. Very casual. I’d recommend this place. The location is great too. One fun thing was the comment in the listing that was something about being within sight distance of the lake. Only if you have a drone in your pocket....

“The evening stars and morning birdsong were magical at Cranberry Lake Lodge. Many varied types of hiking trails in the area. The cabin is comfy, cosy, and super clean. Absolute quiet of the location was a treat for us city dwellers!”

“I (40f) brought my son (20m) and newly graduated daughter (18f) up to the UP for their first time as a request by my daughter before she heads off to college. This cabin is so cute and very clean. We had a great time together. It is secluded enough to be away from everyone and only a 15 minute or so drive into downtown Munising. “The cabin was a great base for Pictured Rocks and the surrounding area. We enjoyed having Au Train beach so close by. The area is picturesque and very peaceful. ”

“This is a beautiful cabin and a very peaceful Lake. There is about 5 mi of unpaved road to get there. The GPS worked pretty well but the owners were even better at letting us know how to find it. We ended up getting there after dark and did not have trouble. It's a little hard on your car to drive on the unpaved roads but it was worth it. “This is a nice, modern, cozy cabin which is close to everything Munising has to offer. It is tucked away in a little clearing down a dirt road so you get the experience of being away from it all in the woods while remaining close enough to the sites. The stars at night were beautiful.
