Fun, but stressful

There was a leak under the kitchen sink and alot of spiders. Other than that a great choice, I would choose the property again.

Excellent location

The house is great. Yes there is some kind of project going on in the park next-door but it doesn’t block the view. The beach is an easy walk across street.

Ventura wedding

Love the place, the listing should probably be up dated with correct Wi-Fi instructions & check out requirements. Water heater died & we were without hot water for 24 hours. Called property management & they responded immediately. Had a plumber out same day & once found the correct part had it up and running. They were very helpful & responsive. Great location & grandkids love the short walk across the street to the beach

Ventura Christmas

The location is perfect, and the house has many great features. The living room furniture needs to be replaced. There are several maintenance issues to attend to…broken lock, water softener, poorly functioning cooktop, broken toaster. But overall, given the ability to have family with us and this great beach location, I would consider coming again. Once the construction project across the street is complete.

Fantastic location near the water

Enjoyed our stay. Little hot upstairs when we arrived but we just opened a couple of the windows and it was wonderful! No ac. A superb location right by a park and the beach and ocean!

Great location and park and ocean views

The house was exactly as it appears on the website. The house looked clean, but was actually not clean, especially the floors. I expected a cleaner house since we were required to pay a hefty cleaning fee. The kitchen is old and outdated. It is almost impossible to cook dinner on the stove (only 2 burners). The refrigerator was very large. We loved sitting on the rooftop deck. The back bedroom on the first floor needs to be updated. The bed is falling apart. The master bedroom is spacious, however the mattress is very uncomfortable and the comforter is musty. We enjoyed staying at the house, but for the cost, updates and better cleaning would need to be made for us to stay at this home again.

Great Beach Getaway

Beautiful, clean property in a great location. Stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. Property is well equipped with everything you need including some beach toys for the kids, body board, and fishing supplies. Centrally located to several attractions, the central coast, and LA. Had a great time, hope to stay again sometime in the future.

Older home. Very good location.

Home needs to be updated. Clean but way too much junk (pots, pans, etc.) in kitchen. Stove needs to be replaced. Very old Gaggenau and only left burners can be used (right is a grill which sets off the fire alarm you say). Front burner pizo lighter not functional so I had to repair it. Need more shampoo and conditioner in bahrooms. Checkout time is 10 AM, cleaners came at 9:30. Not good.

Great Location

Lovely property close to shopping and restaurants. The view is amazing from the rooftop deck. A fire pit would be perfect on the chilly evenings.

Amazing roof deck views

Loved this home for a 3-generation weekend near family that lives in the area. Excellent roof deck with bbq. Views over Marina Park to beach and harbor. Will stay again.

Excellent, very quiet accommodations close to beach and amenities

I stayed with a friend and some of our teenage/young adult children and friends while attending a 4 day music festival at the Ventura Count Fairgrounds. We brought bicycles which enabled us to get to and from the venue in about 15 minutes each way. The property was spacious with big windows, great views and an awesome roof deck. All bedding and furniture were nice, clean and comfortable. Garage and driveway could technically park 4 vehicles off street. The only room for improvement worth mentioning is the kitchen. While it was well-lit and clean, we thought it could use a more modern stove and a larger selection of better cookware. So, if you're fussy about that kind of thing, maybe bring your own paella pan or whatnot. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Ventura ocean views

Beautiful 270 degree view of the Pacific, open living area and wonderful rooftop deck. Enjoyed spending Thanksgiving there with the family.
