"Owner does not live onsite. Not 5 star clean but livable. Need to vacuum UNDER the bed and top of the four-poster bed had thick cobwebs wrapped around it. No flexibility for breakfast times or an offer of anything to grab and go. Room could have used a box of tissues and a full-length mirror. Two rooms have a fairly steep set of stairs to access them. "

We were greeted by the owner, she was waiting for us, we were running late, the ambiance is phenomenal, beautiful spacious room, updated and comfortable, super clean, the bathroom has all the comfort you can ask for, the bed is very comfy,, we cant wait for tomorrow morning breakfast! I highly recommend this precious place I am in love with it!"

"Rose was great and accommodating to us. Communication was great so if we needed to adjust the room temperature she was on it right away. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable! Unfortunately we were up and out too early to have breakfast, but I have read great things about it! Overall, it was a peaceful stay and we had a great time in Maine. "

"The owners, Carol and Denis, were just fabulous! So courteous and accommodating. They welcomed us in like we were family and not guests. The location was clean and quiet and warm in a cozy way. I loved the 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, the gorgeous antiques, and the hominess. Even the house itself invited you in! And the breakfast? Fantastic!! So fresh and delicious and huge! I was stuffed every morning! The only issue was the parking was a bear trying to get in and out of safely....

"We loved this cozy cabin. It had a rustic feel but was updated enough to be comfortable. Location was great, felt isolated but still close enough to town. Peace and quiet on the frozen lake. The kids loved the little reading nook upstairs. There were plenty of games and toys for them, and they loved tuning in the antique radio. We loved sitting by the gas stove.
