“We were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our room for a lodging that's a bit older. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful, and we were quite happy to have found such a welcoming place for our quick stopover. We ate dinner at Mel's Hilltop Restaurant, which was surprisingly excellent (surprising only because we expected more diner-type food, but their choices were not only varied and enticing, but absolutely beautifully presented and done.
