“Peaceful country setting. Wonderful host. Wonderful stay.”

“Can't check in”

“Pros:- Everything important was clean (sheets and bathroom)- The location was amazing: gorgeous view of the river, quiet space out in nature, and super close to Nauvoo- Check-in and check-out were smooth and easyCons:- Most of the rental was covered in years' worth of dirt and grime- The cabin had an extremely strong mildew smell. It was so strong that I had a hard time sleeping at night. - One of the window A/C units was unusable because of mold”

“What a unique house and has a wonderful view to enjoy!!”

“Well decorated and clean. Comfy bed. Close to city attractions.”

“To be very honest the property is not what I expected from the listing. However, after getting settled in and the excellent communication with the host, the 6-week stay was very pleasant. The host was wonderful and checked on us on a regular basis. Host was very quick to fix any issues and was also very quick in all responses. They made us feel welcome. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to someone who is looking for a reasonably priced home to……

“Amazing stay!”

“Everything was fabulous it worked out perfect for what we needed”

“We ALWAYS stat at Americinn in burlington iowa. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The accept dogs under 30lbs is believe for a fee. I love staying here and will continue when my family needs a hotel.”

“The owner was awesome to work with. There were lots of touches to fit with the name Fairy Bowery. The artwork and decorations put the location in liminal space. The Air Conditioning was able to keep up with Nauvoo summer (in fact we had to scale it back to keep from freezing.) We were there for a family reunion, and all of the family that saw our location and accommodations was jealous. Next time we have a reunion in Nauvoo, we'll have to reserve it at least 6 months in advance to keep my……

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely historic home. The little ones were sure we were in a castle! Everything was clean. The kitchen was super well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, spices, and all that we needed for big family meals. It was great to have enough room to all be together, yet have places to enjoy some separate games and conversations. We just wished we could stay longer!”

“Historic Nauvoo. What a neat little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. The property is good value for the money. If you park on the Main Street, it’s easy to find. The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts……
