9 tips to save on your Airport car rental near Burlington

1. Use filters to find the right car: Refine your search by selecting vehicle types and specific features. Whether you're looking for an SUV to accommodate extra passengers, a convertible for summer drives, or an economy car for additional luggage, utilize the filters on Expedia to discover the perfect vehicle for your journey.
2. Book in advance for some of the best rates: To secure lower rates and a wider selection, it's advisable to book your BRL car rental as early as possible. Ideally, aim to make your reservation 1-3 months in advance, especially before peak travel seasons.
3. Age guidelines: Drivers under the age of 30 may encounter higher deposits or daily surcharges, and certain vehicle categories—such as SUVs or luxury cars—may have restricted availability. This can also apply to renters over the age of 70. Always verify the age requirements prior to finalizing your booking.
4. Consider a budget-friendly car for savings: Smaller vehicles, like economy or compact cars, are generally more affordable to rent and easier to park in crowded areas. Mid-size rentals strike a good balance between price, comfort, and fuel efficiency.
5. Check fuel policies: Some rental agreements require a full-to-full fuel policy, meaning you must return the car with a full tank to avoid additional charges. This is usually the most economical choice. Other options may include full-to-empty or prepaid fueling, which can also be acceptable; just ensure you return the car empty in such cases.
6. Know your payment options: Most rental companies require a credit card in the driver's name for security deposits, and debit cards may not always be accepted.
7. Understand your insurance coverage: Car rental insurance can help you avoid unnecessary expenses and provide peace of mind in case something unexpected occurs during your trip. Adding car rental insurance when booking with Expedia is a straightforward process.
8. Check for unlimited mileage: If you plan on spending considerable time on the road, seek rentals that offer unlimited mileage to prevent additional charges on longer journeys.
9. Bring your driver's license and ID: A valid driver's license is necessary to rent a car.
