“This apartment is very clean and has a cozy feel; the host was also very responsive and friendly. I cooked in the kitchen and it had all the utensils I needed, and it even had an electric kettle—most places don’t provide for tea drinkers like me! Be aware, though, that the apartment opens almost directly onto a street that large trucks sometimes drive by on, and that there is a back door into a business hallway which only locks with a handle lock (not a deadbolt). “A lovely, spacious, clean apartment above a yummy restaurant in a quiet residential neighborhood. We stayed there when we were in town for a 6-hour race in Goose Island State Park, and it was perfect! ”

“We loved staying here! I loved the high ceilings, large kitchen. and spacious apartment. The only reason I gave a 4 star “family friendly” is if your kids have a hard time falling asleep with noise. However, the owners were very transparent about it. It never bothered me, but my 12 year old daughter was a bit bothered on Thursday nights when she had to go to school the next day. Amazing location, parking, and overall convenience. Would stay here again for sure! ”

“Great property, great location! Very clean and walkable to most places downtown and to the river and riverboat. By great restaurants and so much going on in LaCrosse. Host very responsive. Obviously you need to climb stairs as it is above a business. Also LaCrosse has a lot of parking rules but very easy and cheap to stay in close ramps. Would definitely visit again and recommend! One more thing, this weekend was the 61st anniversary of the banjo festival and if you like that type of music,……
