      To start the day, we'll pick you up from your hotel and move over to the north-central region of Guatemala. The day will start at 6:00 am but on the way to our destination, you can take a nap and relax on the bus. We will make a stop to have breakfast in a restaurant on the road. Enjoy the road and the beautiful landscapes.

      Upon our arrival at the Natural Reserve of Ram Tzul, we will explore the bamboo forest and walk in the middle of the cloud forest until getting to an awe-inspiring lookout with views of a waterfall and abundant lush greenery.

      Then, we will make a stop at Ranchitos del Quetzal, a sanctuary for our national bird, El Quetzal, with long feathers of vibrant colors. Our stop here will be to have lunch. If we are lucky, we might see a Quetzal on the horizon.

      After our lunch in Ranchitos del Quetzal, we´ll go to an orchid sanctuary located in the cloud forest. Here you will find around 400 species of orchids and learn about them by passing through 9 interactive stations. Take pictures and enjoy your time here.

      We'll spend the whole day here, enjoy the hike up to get to the viewpoint of the turquoise natural pools, then swim, and have fun. Later, we'll discover a complex of nearby caves called Kanba Caves and explore the inside of the earth gates.
