  • In September 1944, Villa Hartenstein was the headquarters of British General Urquhart. Now you can discover the story of the Battle of Arnhem like never before. In the museum you go through the Battle of Arnhem step by step and meet British, Polish and German soldiers. Citizens also play a prominent role; our eyewitnesses tell you what it was like to experience the war as a child.
