What you can expect
Our guide is pleased to welcome you to a beautiful, informative excursion and to spend a wonderful day with us. You will receive information about the original and modern Barbados, as well as the indigenous population. We drive along the west coast to the north of the island, through the green vegetation of the interior – with the wind blowing through the sugar cane fields. On the left and the right you’ll see the different stages of growth. For a glimpse into history, visit St. Nicholas Abbey, an old sugar plantation from the 18th century with its own rum distillery. Unbeatable views of the EastCoast awaits us from Cherry Tree Hill. Continuing to the Atlantic coast we pass Morgan Lewis Windmill the only still functioning sugar mill in Barbados.
It's time for a delicious lunch and a soft drink. Then, on your way to Bathsheba, experience the beautiful wildness of the Atlantic coast before making a stop at one of the oldest churches on the island – St. John’s Church . On our way you will get a glimpse of Cordrington College, a former sugar cane plantation, now a theological college of the Anglican Church.
Then we drive past the airport, the south coast through Oistins and back to your Hotels.
