What you can expect
On this Exclusive Whale Watching Cruise, you'll enjoy more time on the water watching these majestic creatures with a total of 3 hours of water time (1/3 more time with whales) all while being able to escape the crowds on a boat that holds a maximum of 18 passengers. This tour also includes a photo stop at a Mendenhall Glacier scenic viewpoint!
You will have the opportunity to view magnificent marine mammals in the most beautiful part of the country with a professional crew, onboard a custom-built whale watching boat. Your vessel features outdoor viewing areas, heated cabin, comfortable seating, bathroom and is considered one of the safest boats in the industry.
While our guests absorb the spectacular atmosphere of whales surfacing, with the scenic background of Southeast Alaska, we will be there to assist with the interpretation with our local naturalist and also offer snacks and beverages. We are committed to making memorable experiences. We take a lot of pride in being able to cater to the smaller group sizes of 18 and under to make your Juneau whale watching tour more personable.
Meet our Dock representative at your cruise ship dock and board and enjoy a scenic ride to the Auke Bay boat harbor. A complimentary stop at the Brotherhood Bridge for a view of the Mendenhall Glacier is available before or after each tour depending on that day's schedule. Enjoy 3 hours of time on your vessel. Total tour time runs about 4 hours and 15 minutes. This includes approximately 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 3 hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, walking on the dock to the boat, and bathroom breaks.
