Embark on a guided walking tour of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum to gain a better understanding of the terrible tragedies of September 11th, 2001. Learn about the day's events, stand before the breathtaking reflection pools, and wander through the memorial museum at your own pace.

Meet your guide in front of St. Paul's Chapel and head to the memorial as you listen to poignant stories of heroic bravery and sacrifice as you walk around the twin reflection pools. Take a quiet moment to hear the sounds of waterfalls gentle cascades as you scan the names of victims that have been etched into the monument's dark stone.

Continue into the underground museum, where immersive displays showcase items recovered from the World Trade Center towers on that fateful day, including pieces of steel from the twin towers. I wasn’t best pleased with this tour if I am being honest. I have done this one before back in 2017 and it was totally amazing. I can’t remember the woman’s name that did it but she was so informative. She really told you so much info and then you got to go to the museum. So when I went back with my mother and sister I said to do the tour because it was great. This time around the guy seemed to be just taking us on a walk. He did give us some information but being honest I could have told them all of that myself. It seemed like he was taking us on a long walk and pointing out restaurants and nice places to go but that’s not what we were there for so it really felt like a waste of time. Maybe I wouldn’t have noticed the difference if I hadn’t done it before but because I had I really felt like it was a let down. He also stopped a few times to say hello to people. That felt kind of rude to us because we were paying him to tell us about the tour.

First I didn’t realize that this included a walking tour, which was fine assuming it was going to be a short walking tour and the majority of the tour would be of the museum. I was totally wrong!! The guide, who was called in to fill in at the last minute, was very nice and knowledgeable. Perhaps a little too much!! He spent 3 hours talking! Our museum entry time was for 4:00 PM, we didn’t get in until after 5:30!! We had to rush through the museum without even having a chance to see everything in there. These pointless 3 hours also through off our entire schedule of our time in New York! You’re better off buying your tickets directly from the museum or online. This package is truly a disappointment and a waste of time! Just ask my 8 year old who had zero interest on the walking tour. I wish I could get a refund!
