Continue into the underground museum, where immersive displays showcase items recovered from the World Trade Center towers on that fateful day, including pieces of steel from the twin towers. With over 23,000 images, 10,300 artifacts, and nearly 2,000 oral histories, there is an abundance of knowledge to digest on your own, taking as much time between exhibits as you'd like before heading back outside.
