The Portas do Sol viewpoint is the next stop, nestled within the heart of historic Lisbon. Offering a sweeping, awe-inspiring panorama of the majestic Tagus River and the historic monuments that grace its shores.
Typically, visitors pause for a contemplative 10 to 15-minute interlude at this exquisite spot, immersing themselves in the scenery, as the tour guide imparts insightful details about the surroundings.

Next, the Senhora do Monte viewpoint, it graces the city as its highest central vantage point. This panoramic lookout offers an expansive 180-degree view, affording a unique perspective of notable landmarks, including São Jorge Castle, the stately hills of Chiado, the 25th of April Bridge, the Christ the King statue, and the downtown area.
Renowned for its romantic ambiance, this site is also renowned for its incredible historical significance, having served as a pivotal strategic location during the 12th-century conquest of Lisbon from the Moors.

After we will pass through the São Vicente Monastery, which is a monumental Mannerist building that replaced an original 12th-century Romanesque monastery. The monastery serves as the seat of the Patriarchate of Lisbon and offers breathtaking city and river views from its terrace.
It's home to the largest collection of Baroque azulejos in a single building, spanning various styles from Early Baroque to Rococo.
On our tour visitors have the option to explore the free part of the monument, in approximately 10 minutes.

Further on, The Panteão Nacional, is a magnificent national monument that serves as the final resting place for important Portuguese notable personalities, including historic leaders, writers, and public figures. Originally a church, it was later converted into a pantheon.
The building boasts an impressive dome and stunning interior, making it a significant historical and architectural attraction in Lisbon. To visit the inside of this monument, it's necessary to obtain a ticket.

And finally to get really immersed in Lisbon's soul, we are going to take a walk in Alfama, a historic district nestled in the heart of Lisbon, that offers tourists a captivating journey through time. With its narrow winding streets, colorful houses adorned with laundry hanging from wrought-iron balconies, and the soulful strains of Fado music drifting through the air, Alfama is a picturesque maze waiting to be explored.
