Situated on the northern side of the Island in Santana, we have another Heritage of Humanity decreed in 1999 by UNESCO, the Biosphere. We go to a small village hidden in the middle of mother nature, a picturesque farming village, it's name is Ilha, a beautiful parish where the green vegetation contrast with the blue sky it a paradise landscape. We finish our lovely tour with a visit at the Hotel Quinta do Furão, to see one of the biggest waterfalls of the island with an enormous flow of water coming from the top of the mountain directly to the sea.
