Description

Explore Seoul's exquisite history during a full-day tour with a local guide. Develop a nuanced understanding of the city's heritage, with visits to Bukchon Hanok Village, the UNESCO-listed Jongmyo Royal Shrine, and Changdeokgung Palace

Get picked up from your Seoul hotel and head to Bukchon Hanok Village, offering a glimpse into what life was like during the Joseon Dynasty. From Bukchon Hanok Village, head to the Jongmyo Royal Shrine, a Confucian place of worship dedicated to kings and queens from the Joseon Dynasty. Stroll a series of meticulous pathways, reveling in a moment of quiet contemplation. From here, check out Changdeokgung Palace. Admire the opulent estate with its brilliant red, green, and gold exterior before moving on.

Then, head to the King Sejong Exhibition Hall comprising of 9 different sections with a total area of 3,200 square meters. Indulge in a mouthwatering lunch on your way to the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Soak up the compelling history of the 3.6-mile (5.7-km) World Heritage site and take a trolley ride to familiarize yourself with the city.

Finally, the Hwaseong Hanengung Palace is the biggest palace that was used by Kings since the Jeongjo King period. This is the temporary palace where King Jeongjo stayed at the time of Wonhaeng (long journey) and also where he held a splendid feast on Hyegyeonggung Hong, his mother's 60th birthday and other events.

After the tour, you will return to Seoul and ends at Myeongdong area.

Just be prepared with good walking shoes, an umbrella or hat and a bottle of water. A lot of walking but well worth it!
