Meet your tour guide at Regent Hotel (Subway Line 5 Exit C) at 8:00am and start your excited Simatai Great Wall and Gubei Water Town tour. About 2-hour driving, you will first arrive at the Gubei Water Town.

Accompanied by your tour guide, take a ferry to the foot of the Great Wall, and ride on a cable-car to the Wall. Once you are up there, you will be amazed by its beautiful surroundings. This section was constructed under the supervision of Qi Jiguang, a famous general in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Simatai Great Wall displays various patterns of construction. Here, you can not only view the conventional appearance of the Great Wall, with battlements on each side of the track, but also see on steep cliffs the half-wall style, with battlements built only on the outer side.

After your time on the Wall, take the cable car down and start walking around in Gubei Water Town. Relax in the ancient town and enjoy the beautiful scenery. After a tasty lunch at the Water Town(optional, own expense ), you will be dropped off at a subway station (on the way back to downtown) or back to Regent Hotel.
