"This hotel was average compared to others we have stayed at. Their pool is much smaller than it looks online in the photos. There were so many people staying at this hotel when we were there that we were only able to use the pool once because of how packed the hotel was. Our room was good though it had, everything stocked as far as lotions, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is very limited garage parking as advertised for the hotel. People double park and they run out of spaces fairly...

"Enjoyed our weekend at the Mansion. The Presidential suite was lovely, as was the view. Sunrise on the lake was amazing. Also appreciated the sturdy bed frame which was great for Shibari. "Evergreen Hotel has been our go-to hotel when we visit our son in Monroe. The cleanliness and hospitality quality is outstanding! Friendly staff always ready to help. We stayed there over Easter weekend and Monday morning (9:30) we heard a fire alarm go off. The staff was quick to apologize and explain the construction crew was sanding and accidentally set off the alarm. We will continue to stay with Evergreen! Thanks!!"

"2Nights that were very comfortable. We first got a room on the street side of the building. That was horrible loud from street traffic. Went to desk and they gave us a room on courtyard side that was quiet. Great breakfast. The coffee was horrible and not available during the day in lobby. Overall I would look for a better location but it worked out. "

"Considering that our room faced the railroad tracks, the room was quiet from passing trains. The upstairs room was filled with stomping & running children so that was noisy until about midnight. Paint was bubbled on the ceiling in bathroom and bedroom areas, which was concerning. Bed was comfortable for me but not my husband. Inn is next door to the Buzz Inn restaurant which is convenient. Inn definitely needs updating and repairs."
