"The hotel was very nice and very well kept. The buffet breakfast everyday was good but I did get tired of the food after so many days staying at the hotel. One thing I did not like was that washcloths were not given unless asked. And when asking for a new washcloth, the dirty washcloth had to be turned in. It was such a a weird situation. Brooklyn is about three minutes drive from the property and Menlyn about seven minutes. It is situated in a very quiet affluent neighborhood with 24 hour security. "Previously I have been to a 5-Star Manor in Mpumalanga and amazing 4-Star hotels which I felt they standard was just 5-Star. However this time around my 5-Star expectation was not met at all. "The only thing keeping this hotel at a 3 * level is the breakfast which was not bad. Hotel has some potential IF it was maintained properly, serviced on time and had qualified personnel in place.
