"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...

"We only stayed for a night but the overall experience was great from check-in to check-out. The pool area needed more day-beds but other than that, loved the whole vibe of the hotel. Our room was cosy & comfortable as well."

"Great place for a family holiday. Kids 5 and 7 absolutely loved it. Went to kids club daily which got them out of the heat. Loved the slides, kids water park. The pools were hot, not refreshing. The rooms had great air con, which was needed as it was so hot. We ate outside the hotel every night, and easy to get tuk tuk, or walk. Lots around this hotel. Would highly recommend to families was young kids. "

"Fantastic location. Cool villa with terrace and pool. Excellent beakfast buffet. Convenient very long pool on the beach ideal for swimming. BUT : -Stones on the beach should be regularly removed. -Parasols on the beach would be nice to have. - Rooms and facilities need renovations. -Housekeeping service was often in late afternoon ( morning service would be better).
