Exotic landscape and unforgettable ambience.Posted Apr 14, 2015
The overall experience was excellent. A great property. Some major things which adds value to the name are: 1. Exotic landscape. 2. Mesmerising ambience. 3. Room very comfortable. 4. Staff very polite and caring. The only negative is the entrance gate which needs a change. The food is expensive but the menu chosen for buffet is to be looked into. The dinner was pathetic. Menu was very ordinary and was not going with the overall satisfaction we had there. Hope to see improvement on these two points.

Agra hotelPosted Apr 13, 2015
Awful experience. Check-in slow. On arrival no staff available to assist with luggage. So we had to carry all our 4 suitcases ourselves with the help of our own driver. No doorman. At Check-in staff couldn't locate my reservation even though I gave them my expedia reservation confirmation. Eventually was told to wait 5 min for check-in to be completed. 30minutes later I approached the staff asking for update on my check-in. They said it will take another 1 Hour. whilst waiting I noticed staff left my documents aside to check -in other guests guests. Check out was same issues. Waste of unnecessary time. Avoid this hotel if you want to a nice experience. This hotel and experience is nothing but chaotic And stressful.

Excellent service with ever smiling staffPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Openness, the layout is excellent since not too many floors
It was a great experience. Though there was a bit of confusion at the front desk due to a marriage booking, all was sorted by the courteous staff.

Decent hotel close to the Taj MahalPosted Mar 6, 2015
The hotel is located about 7 mins from the Taj Mahal (by car), so the location is great. The hotel is in good condition and has a nice garden area for morning walks. However, service in the restaurants is a bit slow and you don't get a view of the Taj from most rooms. Hence a 4 out of 5.

Short Break @ AgraPosted Feb 2, 2015 on Hotels.com
We were there for our anniversary. To start with, we were upgraded to a mughal suite in the new wing which was fabulous. Margaret at the SPG Checkin counter, made our stay extremely comfortable. From perfectly planning our visit to the Taj Mahal in the morning, to a perfect massage at the Kaya Kalp in the afternoon, to a visit to Kalakruti in the evening and ending the day perfectly at a candle light dinner in Oberoi Amarvillas. Everything was perfectly handled. Thanks Margaret! Surely recommend the hotel for a short break as it is well positioned in busy Agra city.

Total LuxuryPosted Feb 2, 2015 on Hotels.com
Excellent property, Stayed here for the 4th time. It was a family vacation and enjoyed the luxury and hospitality of the Hotel. A little concern regarding the choice at the Breakfast, it seems either the standards have gone down or too many guests. food was not warm enough and the choice was also limited compared to my earlier experience.

our stay was a super experience in every wayPosted Jan 17, 2015
Cons: I have no idea
Location: location outside is poor and dirty... but the visits to taj mahal, baby taj and red fort compensate this, it is really worth it
clean, super healthy food, great decoration, kind personel, when i go back to India I sure will stay in this hotel again. The sustainability is also a plus and i will recommand it to anyone
