Comforts of Home Away From Home

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Cons: There were postings for what to do in case of a fire, yet there was nothing posted on what we should do during the tornado warning.
This is our second stay at this location. So we knew the conditions of the location and the operation of the extended stay rooms. It is close by to family and friends. Plus it is close to shopping, grocery, restaurants and anything that you might be looking to find. We understand that ice trays are available of our use, but an ice machine on site would be nice since it takes time for the water to freeze into ice cubes.

Smelly hotel

Posted May 25, 2015
The hotel is very old with bad smell everywhere. I have not stayed in such a smelly hotel for a long long time. There was no cup for brushing teeth in the room and we had to ask for them at front desk. And their free breakfast was a joke. There was no room to serve breakfast and there was only coffee and instant oat meal in the small lobby. We ended up having breakfast at McDonald's

Hard to locate

Posted May 20, 2015
The hotel is rather difficult to find, thankfully I had a GPS. It's even more confusing considering that there's another Extended Stay hotel less than a half mile away of an adjacent street. The room cleanliness was very poor. The bathroom floors were absolutely filthy. I put towels on the floor to stand on and the towels were brown when I picked them up. The hotel apparently only cleans the room after the guest checks out. I was there for 3 days and the maid never came to the room.

does not have housekeeping

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The rooms are spacious, with nice size refridgerator.
Cons: Cleanliness. Having the front desk staffed at least during the day.
Location: It's near downtown Annapolis. close to UNSA, Maryland State House, Hammond-Harwood HOuse.
Came it at six pm none art front desk. waited called phone no ne came for at least ten minutes, had six rooms with 9 children. we were shocked that there was no room service, and it wasn't too clean to begin with. crumbs all over the floors. Rooms are very comfortable. If yoy want a clean towel you have to bring the used ones back to the desk. Girl a front was vaccuming. Asked for roll away cots in our reservation, we were not informed that they had none. They calim to stock the kitchen with pots and dishes there were none.( We didn't need them)

Gave away our reserved room

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Because of the poor cleanliness of the room, the manager gave us a free night's stay at any Extended Stay location. She was helpful.
Cons: Expedia needs to be more clear about the conditions for a late check-in. Especially when we're dealing with a smoking/non-smoking difference.
Our reserved room was given away, even though Expedia guarantees that your reserved room will be saved in the case of a late check-in. So, despite reserving a non-smoking queen room, we were given a double bed, smoking room. For us, this was terrible because we despise cigarette smoke. However, we realized that at midnight, there was nothing else to be done. When we did get to the room, we quickly realized that the floor was not vacuumed and there were crumbs (??) in the sheets of one of the beds. The room was filthy and smelled terrible. So bad that we went out to buy Febreeze.

Pros: Clean and quiet
Location: Close stores
Free breakfast was granola bars, apples, packages muffins and coffee. It should have read "free snacks". Room was very warm even with thermostat at 66. Otherwise it was fine.

Nice, but cigarette smoke everywhere.

Posted Mar 30, 2015 on Hotels
The room is very comfortable and the bathroom looked newly renovated as did the rest of the room. However, I had a non-smoking room yet the entire room smelled of cigarette smoke as did the rest of the hotel in the elevators, hallways, and lobby. It was absolutely disgusting and I will not be staying here in the future when I come to Annapolis.

Lazy Rude Staff

Posted Mar 20, 2015 on Hotels
Lazy rude staff. (AM Group very poor) (PM guy was good) dirt on the floor of the lobby. Staff standing around shooting the stuff. I had to interupt them to check out. The Breakfast is a joke. The table the food was on was dirty, Had to ask for cups and sweetner. They were out. Pathetic!!
