The host is very helpful and gave us restaurant recommendations which included one of the best places we are on our trip. If you’re looking for a peaceful setting in between busy touristy locations, this is your place. "

"This is a great property in the beautiful Tuscan country side. We unfortunately had booked only one night stay, and since we didn't check-in until 5pm we couldn't get a chance to fully enjoy what it had to offer. Getting there wasn't easy as our GPS got confused couple of times. Apparently the old road is closed, and that was the reason. "Borgo del Dolci Colline is an old guest house and working farm that has sheep, olives and grapes. We loved the family that runs this scenic place. While it is in the country, we were looking for that experience to balance the stays in hill towns. The breakfast was delicious, and the proprietors were very helpful in giving directions and making special arrangements. There are friendly rescued dogs who help look after the sheep. "The property itself is old, but extremely quaint and charming. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The views and breathtaking, you feel completely transported to another era. Breakfast is delicious and the staff went above and beyond. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The area itself is remote and there is no transportation, so you will definitely need to book a car service or rent a vehicle. "
