"We came as a group of family and friends to observe the eclipse. We wanted plenty of space and proximity to other things to do, like hiking and the winery. This fit the bill and was quite affordable too. In addition to enjoying the property, we drove to Letchworth State Park, which’s was only 45 mins away abs very worthwhile. We loved the (steep) hike down to hemlock lake, and the short walk to Oh-Neh-Da Winery too. It was a great home base for our long weekend."

"First of all, I'm going to start by saying it was so hard to leave this place! Pete is an above and beyond kind of host, so friendly. The house is a one of a kind architectural delight! Plenty to do in this area, including state forests and parks. Corning,NY not too far and a wonderful city with Corning glass factory tours. You won't regret staying here it's a big beautiful paradise."

"I picked this place because it was in the zone of totality and I could watch the eclipse from the comfort of a hot tub instead of having to fight through traffic. Clouds unfortunately completely blocked the view but still had a great time. "The property was priced correctly. The kitchen was nice and the furniture was comfortable. The water from the fausets smelled and you couldn't drink it. "Property was as described except it states there is a spacious deck which there is not. Also wish the fire pit was closer to house. Neither were a big deal as the weather wasn't great so we didn't spend much time outside. Could use a little more lighting outside as its very dark and a little more seating in main living area for guests. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed it very much. Fit 6 adults comfortably. Upstairs is very spacious and lots of beds for sleeping. Overall would stay there...

"We had a great time. The location was what we look for each year (quite but close to things to do). Overall the house was nice. Lots of room on a large lot. A couple small issues. Slight odor from the well water and we did not have any propane. (The owner was very responsive and got it replaced promptly)"
