"Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. This is one of the best places i have stayed at in a long time. I highly recommend Mavi."

"Silvia and Ferdinando were excellent hosts. Silvia oriented us to the area and checked on tours. The property is a large garden with pool and outdoor kitchen for guests. The town is small and low key. You can walk to either beach entry. We ordered dinner at our host's Italian restaurant. Ferdinando cooked: it was wonderful. Three great courses. We were off season for whales so will try to come back to Dolce Uvita"

"Lovely relaxing peaceful home from home. Really well equipped kitchen, Gabby was a very friendly host. Check in easy. Uvita is very spread out, this hotel is walkable to the beach, but there is a lot more to see in the area so I would recommend getting your own transport. "

"Amazing property for Birthday week. The pool and whole home have the most beautiful view and is surrounded by wildlife. Internet was strong but the tv was unavailable due to no remote and the outdoor grill needs a little help. The home is like a museum to Costa Rica and Uvita....filled with awesome artwork and masks available to purchase. Del was a perfect host showing the property and full of local information. "Hotels dot com screwed up the reservation, but Jessica at the property did everything she could and made sure I️ have accommodations for my trip. She’s there to help and does a great job at that. The road going to the site is dirt, but that’s expected in CR. The pool at the smaller condos is amazing. Infinity, with fantastic views and the right depth to hang out and enjoy life. Definitely going back there the next time I’m in Uvita!!"

"Ballena Paridise is a well designed property. It is a spacious apartment. Property is very clean and well maintained. On arrival I was given a brief orientation and a set of keys and a remote for the gate. Loved the swimming pool and the beach is a couple of minutes walk from property. If you are a fellow journey person you will also appreciate this place."
