The only downside to this hotel is that it is not near the city centre. If you are willing to either take the subway (there is a station _really_ near) or repeatedly taking a cab (which are very affordable in Beijing), then this is not really a problem.

Chinese hotel

This is a Chinese hotel. Almost no one working for the hotel speaks English. Despite very hot weather, the air conditioning was turned off over night and left off until the afternoon. My room and the common areas were extremely uncomfortable. WiFi is provided only in the hotel restaurant and times out after about 45 minutes. Once it times out, you cannot sign on again that day.

For a foreigner, I would not reccomend this hotel. I couldn't find a person that spoke English. It was very difficult. Paid internet only (costly) and the food wa s average. Thumbs down.

Pros: None.
Cons: Stinky bed.
We asked a non smoking room but the smell was terrible. The carpet is so stinky that you could find several holes from someone smoked in the room. The shower didn't work well we couldn't get enough warm water. Besides, the bath tub was leaking, we had to use the towels to dry the floor. There are cracks on the wall and the bed was so uncomfortable, I couldn't sleep for the whole night due to the bed and the terrible stinky smell. The front desk couldn't find my reservation and she couldn't read English either. Check out was ok.
