“Dream with your eyes open.”

My 50th birthday was knocking on the door and I wanted to spend it somewhere memorable. I have traveled in numerous places (Nepal, Australia, Hawaii, Japan, Bali, Bahamas, Paris, Rome, Italy, Guam, Saipan, Philippines, Cancun, etc. - the reason I share my travels is because one cannot know what is fair, bad or excellent if there is nothing to compare it to). I wanted to go somewhere warm and spoil myself. The minute we got off the boat, we received royal treatment. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the place was picture perfect, and the food excellent. However, perfection doesn't come without a price; aside from that - it is further away, therefore, the water taxi does not go pass a certain point so you have to rely on the hotel boat. It is a very romantic, peaceful and beautiful place.
