Not impressedPosted Nov 7, 2008
I stayed at Dalin for one night only. The room had a smell of cold smoke. The wallpaper and furniture were very old, also sockets were hanging off the walls. Very overpriced, especially for Romania. I would suggest people book a hotel owned by internationals chains, as it is better value.

not very nicePosted May 24, 2008
if you want to go back to the 70's stay here. The mould in the shower has been there since then.

average hotel good locationPosted May 7, 2008
i would recommend this hotel due to its close proximity to unirii piata...less than 10min walk to the mall and the shopping centre...also a couple euro away by cab to most bucarest hotspots...prices were good but wanted to delay my checkout by a few hours and was told to pay a full nights fee...very very dissapointed by that

Good quality basic hotel situated a little way out of the centre but easily walkable. Service was very friendly.

Reasonable and exactly what was requiredPosted Oct 14, 2007
This hotel was a typical 3 star accomodation. The hotel is not for from main square and has an electrlock front gate for added security. The staff in the hotel were polite but not overly helpful or enthusiastic. We travelled in October and the main restaurant was not in use as the hotel was not very busy, and breakfast was served in the reception area. The rooms were clean and tidy and quite spacious with a sitting area in them. The bathroom again was tidy but the bath and shower is the smallest I have ever seen and can be difficult to use. Free safety deposit box in wardrobe which is set in a hall way which means that you have even more space in the bedroom. Air conditioned rooms and radiators all work ok. Hotel rooms have balconies but you look out on to a main road or if you are at the back of the hotel you look out onto a mass of roofs from other buildings. Overall a pleasant hotel and was reasonable and exactly what was required for my stay.

Good location, helpful staff, needs maintenancePosted Jun 6, 2007
The positives of the Hotel Dalin are its walking-distance access to the metro, its helpful English-speakingstaff, and the size of its clean rooms. However, the room badly needs routine maintenance--many things are in disrepair: door handles, towel racks, faucets, cup holders, soap holders in the shower are loose to the extent of falling off. Hot water was not reliable. In all, the room was a bit overpriced for its condition.
