We enjoyed making breakfast in the kitchen which had everything we could need and Kiwi our pup loved the yard. Seriously would give this place 6 stars if I could. The house is beautiful and well cared for and full of cool historical details & decors. Thanks again for having us!"

"Absolutely lovely home in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Very comfortable and all conveniences provided. Hostess replied quickly to our questions. My husband, two sisters, brother-in-law, and I are already thinking we’d like to visit again!"

"Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality."

"We were looking for a place to view the 2024 solar eclipse and we found this cabin, which was in the path of totality! We were so excited to be able to view the eclipse from the property, which meant that we didn't have to deal with traffic getting home or to other lodging. Sherry was a great host. The cabin was quiet and clean. and just perfect for a two-night stay. "
