Fantastic locatio for visiting the Isle of Skye. Staff assisted with early morning breakfast when requested and without fuss.

I stayed at the hotel with my Husband and two children in one of their family rooms. The room was comfortable with good space for us all. I was mostly impressed with the staff who were always willing to help, kept the rooms very clean and delivered an excellent breakfast service. Since I had not been home to Scotland for a few years I was delighted to see haggis on the breakfast menu along with the traditional cooked breakfast favourites and healthy alternatives- fruit and cereal. The area surrounding the hotel is picturesque and the loch and surrounding hills serve as a great backdrop in the dining hall. Given the standard and price of the hotel in relation to the cottages round about, I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Was in Craignure for a wedding and stayed 2 nights !! Lovely hotel with fantastic views, the staff were really helpfull and friendly, Had a lovely meal on the friday night and 2 fantastic breakfasts !! Would stay there again without a doubt !!!!! Merv ...

Scotland is a destination where you relish staying in the B&B culture. But if there is one hotel that you gotta stay in - Its this one. They have about 30 rooms and are located on top of a scenic hill just 5 min from the town centre of Portree. The view from the hotel and the lawns is breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel has been done up with a lot of grandeur and style and they have a lounge, bar, and dining area. The Dining restaurant with a view of the Lake and the harbour is popular with tourists and they have an elaborate menu. The rooms are done up tastefully and the quality of the drapery and linen is excellent. They have a well stocked bar with over 100 malts so you can sample all your favorites here. The breakfast was well laid out and the ladies in the dining section are delightful to chat with. A special mention for Donella who was very helpful when my wife injured her foot on a hiking trail. She was kind enough to have our dinner sent to our room and also arrange for ice. Book in advance and get a room facing the harbour. You gotta splurge once on your holiday and this is the place. You would enjoy sitting in the lawns and just gaping at the view...Go for it

We had a very comfortable stay. The room seemed to be recently refurbished and to a high standard including bathroom. Our room had a brilliant view of Scotland finest Highlands. I would recommend for anyone and will be returning myself.

It is top best Hotel to stay in Isle of skye . Romantic location , Very clean rooms and Top Staff. Hotel Manager Rosemary ahhh help you like a friend and look after you like a Mother, Hotels Head Chef don't know his name i think it is Peter is a Top Man, His Sweet dishes can't be beat by anyone in world. There is also a one girl who take care about bring foods and staff ( A little Girl from Europe) is very good in service. It is best hotel to stay in Isle of Skye, I think it beats 5 star Hotel !

Guest house was lovely and well presented. Our host greeted us upon our arrival and showed us to our room (room 3, double ensuite) making sure everything was ok before leaving us to settle in. The room was tidy and clean with tea/coffee making facilities and a comfy mattress. Its worth noting there's no TV in the bedroom and wifi signal isn't very strong - if you desperately need to access the internet, move closer to the reception as the signal is strongest there. But to be honest when you're visiting somewhere as lovely as Skye these facilities shouldn't be a high priority anyway. There's a guest lounge for all guests to use with a TV, sofas, books and a veranda with a great view. The other rooms in the hotel do not have an ensuite as they all share a bathroom in the same hallway which was also clean and tidy. Breakfast is a choice of cereal, continental or Scottish served between 8am-9am. I had seen some reviews about this hotel not being that great but equally a lot of reviews saying it was lovely. I took a chance that the negative reviews were too harsh and I was delighted to find I was correct. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean and tidy place to sleep overnight while you spend the day on the island then this place is good value for money.

Stuart is a great host, friendly and knowledgable about there area. The room was so nice, we thought it was more like being a guest at a friend's place. Breakfast was wonderful, you just decide the night before and show up to a wonderful start to your day. Free wifi and maps of the area are provided, plus recommendations for places to go and eat. If you are a Dr Who fan you will just love it. Say hi to Ben as well.
