"What I first noticed, that it was an older building but how well maintained it was. The staff was friendly and I found my translator (as I don't speakSpanish) was a must. I found that Talking translator was a great option for me. If you download it, you'll see why The cleaning staff was great. My room was always neat and tidy and they were very friendly. I was located on the 5th floor and my cleaning lady was very attentive with a great personality. Thank you"

"Mixed feelings about this place. The entrance of the pool is very nice and so is the common area on the rooftop. Great location, 1 block from train station. And plenty taxi outside. The rooms are a bit rundown. The closet of both rooms they put us in was broken and the windows don't lock. When it's locked you just shake them and they opened in both rooms. The person incharge told me that they are all the same. The washroom is also not in best shape but nice spacious. All flaws I can ignore. But the unlock windows is what will make me think twice before rebooking "

"Hotel Carib is our favorite place to stay in Panama City Friendly staff, roof top pool, and sunset dinners. Big beds, clean rooms, and even a small fridge if you ask for one. Free breakfast and a welcome aboard cocktail at the pool bar It's right across the street from a 5 floor department store and supermarket. El Machetazo for all your shopping needs.
