Best Western Premier Hotel Sant' Elena

Calle Buccari 10 S Elena, Venice 30132 - Map
"Beautiful hotel, garden park part of venice"
The rooms are modern and sleek. Clean and well maintained. We would recommend to family and friends without second a thought and happily return if in Venice. It is a pleasant walk from the boat stop and from the hotel along the water front to San Marco Piazzo. The worst bit was how form the mattress was, it was uncomfortable faulting the ability to sleep but that's the least of complaints to make when presented with a great hotel. The inclusive breakfast is good. The staff friendly and helpful. Try the pizza place around the corner, best we tried in our visits to the Island. If taking the alilaguna from the airport, recommend blue line to Lido, pay the €7 from Lido to Sant Elena, rather than to Arsenal with larger cases.

Pocket Guide: Venice Castello Best Western Hotels

Bordering San Marco and the Rialto and stretching east to some of Venice's quietest greenest parts, Castello is the city's most varied 'sestiere'. Its most famous aspect is the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront next to the Bridge of Sighs, with picture-postcard views onto the lagoon. Yet a few yards from the tourist hoards, the backstreets are quiet and typically Venetian. There are many outstanding churches and art collections in this area.
