"I stayed at the 1425 Inn for a work event. I generally stay in a hotel in Columbia, but was excited to find a quieter and smaller room available via VRBO. I really never thought about using VRBO for a work trip, but I am so glad I did. The room was spacious and clean. The only challenge I had was the jacuzzi motor ran loud and was a bit too loud for my liking. I enjoyed a nice soak in the tub without the jets. Would definitely stay at this property again for work or enjoyment."

"We stayed here for my daughters’ 15th birthday and loved our stay. Nicely decorated with a mixture of antiques and contemporary modern renovation of the bathroom. We stayed in the River’s Suite which allowed us all to have our own bed. Pam is friendly and responsive. This is definitely a B&B we will come back to. "

I proceeded to go to hotel after arriving in Columbia and front desk girl was able to help us get a room on premises. The floors needed cleaned, though there is no smoking in room policy, I suffered sinus congestion due to heavy smoking from neighboring rooms that bled into my room. "Disappointing. Will not recommend or return. Not well run- wanted entry to room while we were out to change pictures!!! Unprofessional. Room too cold with no adjustment available. Couldn't open outside door to warm up due to lack of screen. Windows as well."

"A great rustic log cabin for bringing family together! The room with the fireplace is like a private longue with piano. My nephew brought his guitar and we sung around the fire. Only complaint would be too many drop rugs which are tripping hazards for older people. We just rolled them up and put them out of the way where necessary."
