“Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t receive the check in instructions, so on arriving had to spend around an hour trying to figure things out. There are no staff at the property and the phone number on their website is incorrect. Room had no bin, no mirror or tea & coffee facilities. This is a basic. No outdoor lighting and slippery broken decking steps is a health and safety hazard. Another guest kept leaving the main door open, and one night I took my dog out in the night to……

“The apartment was in brand new condition and was excellently laid out with separate kitchen/lounge and sleeping areas. The kitchen was well equipped and very functional. This would be a great place to stay for anyone who wanted to visit Edinburgh for a few days. We also liked the large flat screen smart TV. The bathroom was surprisingly large and nicely decorated in a modern style which was a very pleasant change from other places we had stayed. The only negative point is that access was by way……

“The unique property really is excellent. Very old but with updated amenities. The garden behind property is beautiful. The only big problem was very poor wifi (like brutal) and connectivity using your own data plan. Loved the property but likely wouldn’t stay there again as it was just far too difficult to access online resources etc”
