"Cayman Brac is a bit off the beaten path, but has first world services. The cottage is very well appointed with the kitchen having all the necessities. Beds are comfortable. Water is safe. The community of Cayman Brac is very friendly. Car rental was mostly painless, but reasonably priced. The screened in porch is a huge bonus to this cottage. Although we didn't think there were many bugs, the porch gave a sense of security and shade that few other properties had. That said, it was sometimes quite hot, even in the shade. Late most afternoons the humidity seemed to drop off and make it more comfortable. The snorkelling off the shore was excellent, particularly 150 yards to the east. Getting in and out of the water was a bit tricky and dive booties were required. We were there almost three weeks and would go again. One negative was the absense of network TV, but the internet was fast enough to get the news otherwise."

"This house is in a great location just a few minutes from grocery, restaurants and the dive shops. The outdoor space is fantastic with a warm pool and beautiful ocean views, and the screened porch is nice for enjoying warm evenings without bugs. The inside is dark and has lots of knickknacks, so it’s not a good place for young children."

"We can't say enough about the owner and his crew. Our flight from Grand Cayman was delayed, meaning that we would arrive too late on a Saturday night to stock up on groceries or even get dinner. After notifying Henry of our dilemma he arranged for enough groceries to last until stores opened on Monday, and even ordered a pizza for us that would be waiting when we landed later that evening. As far as the property, yes, it's as good or better than the pictures, and everything worked. Cayman Brac is a terrific place to relax, and as far as we're concerned this is the place to be on the Brac."

"Serenity on the Bay…. No direct neighbors ( exception of a pleasant puppy, few chickens, hermit crabs, little yellow singing birds, and a white cocktail ! The 2 bedroom house had ample room along with the porch, covered hammock/kayak outdoor space, 2nd hammock hangs by from the palm trees, sandy yard, and bay frontage. Bluetooth speaker (you gotta bring this) works quite well with swaying in the breeze in the hammocks. Relaxation! Scuba dives with Scuba Shack, dinning at Barracuda/ Star Island/ Captain’s Table/ the Market’s deli. Billy’s/ The Market/Kirkconnell all convenient for grocery supplies. Vehicle can be negotiated with a months rent ! Couldn’t ask for more."

"I'd like to see more locals working at the Alexander. The cleaner lady was the friendliest person there, love her. The rooms could use an update in furniture and kitchenware / appliances"
