“Outstanding Service”

The check-in personnel at Motel 8 are excellent, especially Debra. They provided us with amazing service and even gave us a room at 8 AM (after waiting for just a few minutes). The room was cleaned up every day and fairly comfortable for the price. The furniture was not new, but in a decent state. Continental breakfast was provided between 6 and 10 AM, and while not having a lot of variety the quality of the food was good.

“Very nice for a motel in Abbotsford”

There are lots of restaurants and it's convenient for families. the hotel is new, clean and tidy. Afterall, it is a roadside chain motel so no glamour here but pleasant surprise as we were expecting a tired old motel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Pool has a nice slide for kids, although inside and in the basement. Fitness centre is well equipped. Lots of parking. Overall very good.

“It's a roof over your head”

Room was ok only stayed one night, dark room noisy heater, heat was off when we got there. not overly impressed for what we paid, I could have gotten more value elsewhere.

“BEWARE ONLINE BUYER!!!!!”

When you book this hotel online they put you in the old side, where there is exterior room entrances and no waterslide. The General manager changed our room to the new side, the side that are in the pictures apparently the other side is old and nasty.
