Many of Antrim’s most popular attractions are located close to Cushendall, so it is a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Two of the most interesting places to explore are the fascinating Curfew Tower and the incredible Layde Graveyard. Also, well worth the effort are the Red Bay Castle and Ossian's Grave.
Cushendall has plenty of museums and theaters nearby that allow visitors to really get a feel for the area. Take a tour, admire the interior of the building or simply enjoy the wonderful artworks at Ballycastle Museum in Ballycastle.
If the sun is shining get outdoors and make the most of the nearby parks and reserves. If you are up for a walk head to a beach, such as Cushendun Beach in Ballymena and Ballycastle Beach in Ballycastle.
After exploring the delights of Cushendall, get a good nights sleep at one of the area’s hotels or serviced apartments. The An Caislean, Ballycastle, the Londonderry Arms Hotel, Ballymena and the Village Bed & Breakfast, Ballymena are just some of the most popular accommodation options here.
