"While planning a fly fishing trip on the Beaverkill river, we came across this rental property and it fit the bill perfectly for us. Although the weather didn't cooperate as far as the fishing goes (temps were in the mid to upper 80's), the house remained comfortable inside for sleeping at night. House was as advertised and we enjoyed sitting around the fire down by the river. We saw deer, a bald eagle and various other wildlife. The home was as described, great furniture and beds and had tons of amenities to make for a great home away from home. Convenient to get to Oneonta and Cooperstown. The induction stovetop ended up breaking as we were attempting to cook, but the host generously gave us a discount to subsidize us going out for dinner instead of cooking the food we had brought. Overall it was an excellent stay — I do think it would be helpful if the host had instructions listed in the cabin regarding how to use the appliances (stove, grill, fireplace, etc.). Bill, who is the owner, is a great guy and made sure everything was ready for our arrival, including a warm and toasty home. We stayed to ski Belleayre and it’s couldn’t have been better with a less than 10 minute ride. Highly recommend if your are staying with a large group."

"one bedroom suite was very nice and spacious. The heat and hot water were great. Upstairs occupants could be heard but they were quiet after 10 pm. Access into the apt was easy. Apt needs a deep clean and dusting. The night stand in the bedroom does not reach the bed height. Only 1 tv but we moved it and it worked fine in the bedroom. The queen size bed was very comfortable. Close to supermarket, CVS, restaurants, shops and of course skiing."
