"The hotel was a beautiful old building, that looked like it always a hotel. The room was the perfect size, no wasted space, bathroom was small but great looking and efficient. It’s close the the train station and the shopping areas, with stores and restaurants just outside. Breakfast was great, really good choice in the buffet. The staff were really nice and helpful, rooms really clean. The only things I thought they could improve is to have comcast on the TV. Most people staying there...

"Hotel was empty, asked for a room with a better view (a few doors from our room) so that we can see the ocean unobstructed. There were no difference in rates in the rooms. The service agent lied to us that the hotel was fully booked (I could have reserved 10 rooms on Expedia that minute) and did not even look at our request. The room was dirty so was the washroom. Clearly they want to be an upscale resort but are really not."

"I really, really enjoyed my stay at Pigalle. At first I thought it was a themed hotel as the style and vibe is so distinct but the more I explored the hotel the more I felt I'd stepped back into 1800s Gothenburg. The design, the interiors and the details are so rich and inviting. The rooms are comfortable with high ceilings, neat little bathrooms with amazing water pressure. The breakfast is fantastic - such a great spread. I especially loved the yoghurt and berries! I sadly didn't get to try...

Service and communication was outstanding. Staff very helpful. Good location close to public transportation and many areas within walkable distance.
