"Staff is great. The building is old and needs renovation: the carpet needs to be pulled up, the interior ceilings/walls need replacement or painting. The outdoor swimming pool needs fixing for the summer. The front yard waterfall should be taken down if there is no money for power washing and painting."

"We were considering cancelling our reservation due to all the negative reviews, but decided to give it a shot before we did so. Some people said it was in a shady part of town, but really it's just located in a lot of urban sprawl. Not super beautiful, but not unsafe either. For the price, it was fine. Pool was open 6am - 10pm, breakfast was open from 7-10, and check out wasn't until 12. Parking was slightly limited, but the front desk would work with you if you couldn't find a spot. ...

"Ignore the bad reviews. Except for one regarding elevator they’re old anyway. Found everything & everyone to be excellent. Nice lobby area and bar. Room was great. Had problem with tv & was told maintenance would gone by. I expected it to take an hour or more but guy was there within minutes. All staff was very friendly. There was a rubber band for braces under the desk but was right against edge of dresser so can see how vacuum wouldn’t have gotten it. Housekeeping should do visual check....
