"We came for a sporting event in the area and wanted a nice quiet place to rest our heads. We found it! Close enough to everything you need, but tucked away that you feel like you are on your own "island." The place had plenty of space for the 2 of us (even more people would have plenty of room). We got a great recommendation for dinner for my husband's birthday. Checking in and seeing a Happy Birthday Balloon with local syrup was just the absolute added touch!!! Very sweet. "Host is super responsive and the property has pretty much everything you need. The lake is pretty small, but super clear and great for bass fishing! Personally, I feel that the “sleeps 12” is a stretch, and think the furniture and beds would not be adequate for that many. Inflatable mattress needs to be replaced as it deflates within a couple hours. Loved the touch of having puzzles and movies available, as it was great to have during rainy times. Overall, really nice place to spend our week!"
